Look for it along the edges of your property and to safely harvest it for edible use. Unfortunately it has been so long since I have been through the area, I can't recall exactly where I saw it. However, best way to ID it is too look for soft silvery wool on undersides of leaves and to give leaves a good rub - they should be very aromatic. As for Wild Fennel, that was not one that I was on the lookout for at that time. I see that you identified some plants in Danbury, and I was wondering if you knew some places in Danbury were I could find wild mugwort or wild fennel? I'm a high school student who is doing a community change project on invasive species and would like to safely collect these plants in order to provide them in an edible form to my classmates, and educate them about incorporating invasive species in their diets. Thank you. Jessica Elizondonoreply@blogger.com
