Summer Events in the Northeast

Entrance to the Medicine Wheel Garden at the Annual Medicine Wheel Festival that happens every May

What a Spring it has been! It has been a wild Rampin', Reishi harvesting, Black Locust flower nibbling, Saxifrage sampling, Toothwort tasting, mouth-watering Waterleaf eatin' Spring to be more specific and it seems that I have had the hardest time sitting down in front of this blog to share the stories with you. Hopefully all of you have been too busy roaming the hills, combing the meadows, and climbing the mountains near and far to notice. We have also discovered a number of trails that wind locally through our Pocono mountains and also made our first overnight excursion to the Catskills. These tales of hiking and harvesting will come in less than ideal steamy-hot days to come but for the time being...I want to get the word out on the upcoming plant walks and festivals that we have coming up this Summer! I hope that you can join in the botanical bounty with us!
