  1. Hi Heather, I see you are visiting the wonderful state of NC from NY. I am a BSA leader in the Triad area and am currently working on a hiking course for women given by women. I am looking at doing this next spring. Would love to communicate with you regarding being a female hiker and am also wondering if you frequent NC every spring time? Would this be something you could possibly help me with? My end game is getting more young ladies (my BSA unit is co-ed teens) and women (moms) more familiar with hiking and backpacking so they can not only enjoy this with their kids but feel more comfortable doing this in a more female oriented setting.
